This personal project explores creative packaging design inspired by the popular Taiyaki fish-shaped ice cream, a well-loved treat in Japan, that is gaining popularity in the U.S. Rather than using the traditional carp shape, I added my own twist to this concept by modeling this ice cream after a puffer fish.
Deliverables include include:
- Logo development and my design process
- Character and digital illustration workflow
- Custom packaging design (work in progress)
- A mockup of the final packaging display
This project will highlight the skills I've garnered over the years, as well as the direction I hope to keep going towards in my design.
